How To Be Rich - Secrets Revealed by a millionaire

How to be Rich? Secret Revealed!!

As of this writing, I’m 25. In the last 3 years I’ve generated over 20 million in one of the most competitive industries on the planet, where my average competitor is at least double my age with 10 times the tenure in the business. I have a computer science degree from a prestigious university, which I received when I was 23. I’ve a small family and an extremely happy, stimulating life. Things were very good — but the future wasn’t always so bright. I often asked myself How to be rich?

When I finished high school, I got admission in one of the best IT universities. The first few months were brutal, and I quickly came to the conclusion that this is not going to be easy. But with the help of a few very good friends I was able to get through it. Despite being an overachiever all my life, I found myself thinking how will I perform in real professional world where there will be no friends just competitors.

After deep thinking for extended hours, I got a feeling that I am on a wrong track. Doing a job is not worth my time.

“If you don’t build your dream someone will hire you to help build theirs.”

― Tony A. Gaskins Jr.

After reinventing the wheel for myself; I  realized that the secret to extraordinary success is in the business world and is a combination of technical and creative thinking. Last two years of education I started working on small projects which gave me enough to fuel myself for the real challenges ahead.

Here are the eight rules, I utilized to boost my growth from there. They seem simple but following them religiously is hard, BUT they are indeed the secret to success.

Secret That Can Make You The Next Self-Made Millionaire

AGE IS THE GAME CHANGER

Start early, invest regularly ― financial advisors have been preaching this since ages. But very few follow this. Embrace the youth wholeheartedly. Use your age as an asset, which can be done in many ways, it can be a super differentiator. The moment you start to give yourself an excuse for not being successful is the moment you fail.

If you can think it you can really do it. Other than that, there is nothing people want to see more than a hard-working, intelligent and dedicated young professional who succeeds.

REINVEST IN YOURSELF.

The safest investment I’ve ever made is in my future. You don’t just need to be a master in your field, you need to be a well-versed person capable of handling all aspects of life. Nobody is perfect, Be a better-man everyday and you’ll get there. Learn something daily. Learning is not all about technical stuff.

Remember;

85% of your financial success is due to your personality and ability to communicate, negotiate and lead. Shockingly, only 15% is due to technical knowledge.

I also believe that it is critically important be healthy, in order to reward your hard work. Consider spending more on memorable experiences and luxuries that will enhance your lifestyle. I make a monthly road-trip to places that give peace to my soul and refuel me.

AVOID FATIGUE.

Attention is a finite daily resource and can be a limiter on constructive work. No matter how much mental stamina developed with experience, there is still a threshold where you break down and your remaining efforts for the day are going to take more time and hence counter productive.

Conserve your mind power by planning recurring actions before hand. This way you can do simple tasks on autopilot. I know what I am wearing to work and eating for breakfast each day next week.

VALUE THE TIME.

The biggest differentiator between ordinary and high success is the ability to work productively for long hours at a time. These long stretches are extremely important when work needs to be exclusively completed. Without intentionally increasing mental stamina, you won’t be able to compete with those who have built this up over decades in the business world.

Stay away from distractions in working hours and recognize when you begin to wander out of focus. Review your daily activities each night and see how you can save time.

Remember time is the greatest effort. Even if a beggar is given infinite time, he’ll be a rich billionaire one day. Save time. Don’t work on things which you can hire someone to work on this for you. Ask yourself, is this task worth my time?

Value Time - Time is the greatest asset for success and getting wealthy

THINK BIG. BE BIG.

If you don’t already have your Two, Five and Ten-year goals written out and visible to you, do so right now. I review mine before sleeping every single night. Ask yourself, what you can do to accomplish your 10-year goals in just 5 years? And Raise the goal whenever you are about to reach it.

Think big, don’t just search how to be rich.

FOLLOW A FLOWCHART & PLAN LONG TERM.

Plan your work and then work on your plan. Perhaps my biggest achievement was organizing my time and setting priorities. I created a process that allowed me to sleep 10 hours, Work 8 hours, learn 1 hour and spend 5 hours with family.

Have you heard?

Rich People plan for three generations
Poor people plan for Saturday night.

DON’T CREATE BACKUP PLANS.

Back-up plans help you sleep easy at night. Back-up plans gives you easy exit when times get tough. If you’ll have no back-up plan you’ll try again and harder.

You’ll work harder and longer because you’ll know if your primary plan fails, it’s all gone. It has to work because there is no other option. Poverty is not an option; you have to fight the challenges and be rich!! Total commitment–without a safe exit will have you work harder than you ever imagined.

If somehow the worst does happen (and the “worst” is never as bad as you think) trust that you will find a way to bounce higher after hitting low. As long as you keep working hard and keep learning from your mistakes, you always win in the end.

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

Successful people know beforehand that they will succeed. If not you, then who is going to believe in you? Nothing is stopping you from being the person who accomplishes your wildest dreams. Many billionaires were actually high-school dropouts.

People that fail have excuses. They keep finding the shortcuts on How to be rich; but do not follow the plan they come up with. People that are successful have tales of the challenges that they encountered and solved. The moment you feel that there is nothing you can’t learn or do to solve the most complex of problems, is the moment of guaranteed success.

If you are still unsure of how to begin, start with a promise to work towards the your goal. Be consistent and be better each moment of every day. This is the building block and mentality with which I am building my career.

Still thinking How to be rich?

There is no shortcut! Keep it simple and remember that success is not a milestone. Real Success is continuous effort towards a better tomorrow. If you really want to excel, you have to get out and earn it every day for the rest of your life. And yes there is no stop!
